Chamber Advocacy

The Lodi Chamber legislatively advocates for you.

Every employer, regardless of size, geography or industry, is impacted by the decisions made at the city, county and state level. The Lodi Chamber is your business advocate, ready and willing to stand up and speak on the interests of our members and encourage the preservation of a pro-business agenda.
We defend a business’ right to make a profit and a city’s right to maintain
a successful, prosperous and balanced economy.

It is nearly impossible for lawmakers to know how every bill they consider will affect your company, and they need to understand how a proposal will impact your business and employees. We are here to be the voice of commerce, and we will speak up to represent what is best for the Lodi business community.

Below are a few of the ways that your Lodi Chamber stays involved in shaping business in Lodi:

  • The Lodi Chamber has an active Governmental Relations Committee that meets monthly to learn about, discuss, and take action on issues facing the protection of a prosperous business climate in Lodi. This informed committee makes it their business to understand what is affecting your business in local and statewide political action.
  • Creating a thriving economy in a slow-growth town such as Lodi depends upon the support of people passionate about the success of local businesses and communities. The Lodi Chamber of Commerce understands this and takes measures to encourage pro-business political candidates who represent the interests of the Chamber and its members, to run for office.
  • Through active participation in California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber) legislative calls and weekly e-newsletter updates, The Lodi Chamber stays up to date on current issues and laws being proposed to help you make better strategic business decisions.
  • Candidate Endorsement
