Lodi’s ABCD: Love Your Block program seeking projects for grants
-Orientation meetings on Nov. 11 and 12-

November 2, 2017

The ABCD: Love Your Block program, sponsored by the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lodi, is offering mini-grants or of up to $500 or connections to resources for projects intended to improve neighborhoods in Lodi’s Heritage District.

“Energizing the residents of the Heritage District to be more involved in their neighborhood, connecting with each other in a whole new way, that’s what ABCD is all about,” Lodi Mayor Doug Kuehne said. “We invite everybody in the Heritage District to the event.”

Residents interested in receiving funding for community improvement projects for the Heritage District are invited to come to the upcoming orientation sessions to learn more about applying for the grants and what types of projects will be funded. Residents from all parts of Lodi and community organizations are invited to attend and serve as resources and support for the community projects that will come out of the orientation workshop.

Two sessions are available to attend! Make sure to RSVP at www.lodichamber.com/abcd

About the ABCD Love Your Block Program
Lodi's ABCD: Love Your Block is a community program organized by the Lodi Chamber of Commerce and City of Lodi. This program is targeted towards improving the Heritage District, in the eastern side of Lodi, by supporting citizen-driven community improvement projects. Modeled after similar programs successfully established in several other cities nationwide, ABCD: Love Your Block provides a unique opportunity for neighborhood groups to grow in leadership and help transform their own neighborhood.
