Mayor’s State of the City Breakfast
Mayor's State of the City Breakfast
October 17, 2017
If you think you know all the Mayor of Lodi did in 2017 for our city, think again.
Doug has been a very good Mayor and we all owe him our thanks and gratitude. On November the 2nd the Chamber will host the address over a meal, as it has since 1923. The Mayor’s State of the City address is a gathering of the Lodi District business community and interested citizens.
This event is one of the premiere networking opportunities for our businesses. The Woodbridge Country Club will supply a great Breakfast Buffet, and each ticket also includes a favor from our presenting sponsor Levy, Daniel & McGee. Tickets are $45 per person, and also available for purchase are tables for your business; for either clients or employees. Tickets are going fast at the Chamber office, get yours today at www.lodichamber.com, by calling 209-367-7840 ext 100 or stopping by 35 South School St.
If you are a local resident, and not interested in the tasty breakfast, we will offer you a seat at 8am to hear the Mayor’s address.
Some people ask why the Lodi Mayor’s address is in Woodbridge? I have many reasons why...
1) The Lodi Chamber is the organization putting on the event, not the city, and the Woodbridge Golf & Country Club has graciously offered their space to hold this event.
2) Our name since 1923, when most of our members lived outside the city limits has been, Lodi District. So when you add our farmers, wineries and many other businesses, we still have a great many members outside the city limits, including the Country Club.
3) The good people of Woodbridge must consider themselves a big part of what goes on in Lodi. They go to church in Lodi, kids go to school here, they shop here, they support Lodi charities... It is a line on maps, but we are one great community.
How great? Come hear Mayor Doug Kuehne tell you himself, he has helped out many Lodians and given much of himself and his time in our service. As many before him, he has been an excellent Mayor.
